True, they are hard to beat, but the two examples you've posted both have significantly better records at home to Man United than we do!

You asked "Does any other PL team have such a bad home record against another PL side?" I'm not sure but our miserable 11 points should be considered relative to Everton 12 points and Spurs 13 points. We just need to smash them tomorrow :-)

It will be 1-1. We'll take the lead in the first 10 minutes, they'll equalise in the last ten minutes. Sadly inevitable against that horrible, scummy lot.

It'd be better if Ferguson didn't have such obvious respect for us and keep insisting on putting his strongest team out here.

I'm optimistically going to go for a 2-1 victory to us.  Gabby has a good record against them, and I think the young lads will be well up for this.

a terrific Downing double sandwiching an Agbonlahor strike.  Nani getting a late commiseration goal.  As we will have beaten BBC United, expect us still to be last on Match of the Day.

Since our last win, we have 5 points, not 11.

I saw something the other day about Spurs' results against the "big four" which was really quite surprising. To the point it looked like there was some kind of actual jinx in operation.

The OS says this match is early tomorrow morning?  At the start of the week they were saying the Blackpool match was at the weekend and on the day of the game were saying it's in the afternoon.  That's so very poor.

We need to shut this game down early on and make it a boring and scrappy midfield encounter as with the Blues and Chelsea games. It won't be pretty but it is the best bet on us getting a result in this game, were also bound to get a few chances and hopefully we will be able to nick one on the break.

I would go for the same team we started with Blackpool, we don't have much choice really, and bring on Gabby as a super-sub in the second half. Could this be a game Ireland could shine in? Possibly, but considering his peformances I would leave him warming the bench.

The annual first visit of the season - because of cause we will end up drawing them in the FA Cup as usual - and the usual miserable home defeat. 1-3 to the Kent and Cornwall Gloryhunters.
