What about Herd? Is he still around? Didn't he have a pretty good loan spell at Lincoln last season?

What??? I thought he was Bannan;s driving instructor, surely he is not still playing

Surely it's Clark and Bannan with the shirts, Ireland's got to do a lot more to force his way back in.

I will remember him for that goal at Everton.

Nothing else springs to mind other than mediocrity personified ( at best).

Another one bites the dust. Who's next I wonder?

I seem to remember reading a thread where you went to watch the open training session at Villa Park.

Since then I can't help but notice how bad our injuries have become.

Coincidence? I think not.

I think we should start a thread on who is going to get injured next.  Midfield and the strikers are already screwed, so I'm betting we get him in defence next.

My money is on Dunne.

i think that is being very unkind to mediocrity...

only thing sidwell has done well, has been as a ballboy and doing the best invisible man impression never seen...

Dunne looks like hes playing injured already he sweats when he looks at the pitch. Im fairly sure Gerard would play him injured instead of carlos anyway!

Apart from the fact that Sidwell was a member of the five man midfield with Gabby up top that most of us remember as being one of the best runs we had under MON, including that Everton game.

He did Ok during that spell. Nothing much after.

When he came on v Wigan on his debut and scored a belter I really thought we'd see a future England player. Silly me.
