Yeah, to be fair to Sidwell, you don't want to mess about with an Achilles tendon injury.... if that snaps, that's your season over.

NRC knee injury not as bad as first thought.Only expected to bo out for 2-3 weeks.Might make it back for the Blose game with any luck

Sidwell is no loss at all- I'd far rather one of our reserves or youth team in the side than sidwell- one of the worst players I've seen for us in over 30 yrs of watching villa.

Hopefully he will fuck off in January and never wear a villa shirt again- strong words I know but the guy is a passenger.

In fairness, I thought his attitude seemed a bit better in recent games and he was at least doing a good job of getting stuck in. Admittedly it's the least we should expect, but it was a start!

Interesting that one, when he was initially injured December was earmarked as the return date. So maybe, just maybe, he's a week or two ahead of schedule?

In fairness to him (and I appreciate he hasn't covered himself in glory ) he has tried to play through an injury that has probably got worse as a result.

His time here has never really got going and he's never seemed to be fully fit for any length of time.
