Yes, the announcement is " there will be a minimum of xx minutes".  That means the ref is perfectly entitled to play xx plus whatever he feels like, if someone is deliberately wasting time, feigning injury etc or even if there is a genuine injury which takes sometime to deal with.

If they put the clock on, then as soon as it showed xx minutes there would be all hell let loose by the supporters of the winning team.

I believe this is a Prem/Football League regulation that the clock stops at 90.

The updates of scores during the match is a good touch I think.

That'll test the Match of the Day editors - imagine we're just about to take a corner and a scoreflash from another games comes up on the screen. Another excuse to put us last I suppose.
