I saw an interesting stat the other day regarding the Villa v Chelsea game and the Blues v Chelsea game.

Villa park was just under 98% full.
St Andrews was just under 80% full.

If I remember right, our game was on the TV?

Don't let the facts get in the way. With 4,000 away fans contributing to the 80% too?

No doubt.

I don't like to knock the Small Heath attendances because in the current climate I think the Midlands has been hit particularly badly and gates at Villa, The Sty and the Albion are suffering.

However... 3pm kick-offs last Saturday.
26,315 - Norwich v Leeds
25,189 - Derby v Scunthorpe
24,357 - Small Heath v Last season's double winners (inc 4,000 Chelsea fans)
22,177 - Southampton v Peterborough (3rd Div)

What happened to the 50,000 you took to Wembley? Surely they'll all come out for little old Villa?
it will be a sell out i imagine......plus i bet toon sold out against sunderland.everton sold out against liverpool, city v utd a sell out, arsenal v spurs a sell out.........i even will say the black country derby will be a sell out......your game against us was not....truth hurts i know but just stating facts....

Maybe the late winners are the reason it's not a sell out.

Or it could be that you're a terminally shit club, in a massive city, with support that gets embarressed by the likes of Norwich, Southampton, Charlton, the Stripey-filth and the Dogheads, and not only do you not turn up at home, you've also one the the most pitiful away followings ever seen in this division.

Are we going to have enough fit players to make a team?

Less than 20k against the reigning champions, Saturday 3pm kick off, not on the telly either.
Truly the poorest support of any club in the Midlands, and in relative terms worse than Walsall as well.

Now he's injured perhaps he'll snap up a ticket and help edge you a touch closer to that magical 24,000 sell out number??
