Losing to them at this stage of the cup would be pretty galling and significant though, no getting away from it.  Great chance for us to progress and a great chance for them if they win.

True. It's probably easy for me to dismiss it as I don't live in the midlands. But I hope we aren't talking about it for years to come, as it will mean nothing else has happened.

When we won the cup in '94 we beat Small Heath twice on the way. Yet in the context of the overall cup win it barely warrants a mention. We tend to measure success in trophies but as for the rags, having been starved of any sort of achievement throughout their pitiful history, victory over their near neighbours takes on rather more importance.

I don't hate loosing to them, I hate the fact that we play them at all.

I don't think we'll talk about it for years if we win, but you just know you'll hear about it for years if we lose even if they lose in the semis. But it would be unbearable if we lost to them and they went on to win the cup aswell.

Good luck to them. Good club. Great supporters. Powerful management team. Fantastic history.

Oh come on. Them. Win something?

Any Black County Villans know if the supporters club is running a coach to this game?

Hmm. I'm in two minds as to whether to risk my life or just watch it on tv.

Good attitude. Can't understand why we're making such a fuss about the allocation if that's the case.

From my experience, the only way you'll get a beating is if you go looking for it. There'll be a lot of morons looking for a fight, and solely looking for a fight. If you're after trouble you'll find it. However, keep your wits about you and learn to keep stum either way coming out the ground and you'll be fine.

Unless of course the police keep us back for an hour again, making us stand out like the bat signal coming out of the shit hole...

Actually, don't they have to pay for the police presence around the ground? If this is the case... then they'll cock it up. Cheap tin pot organisation that it is.

Some people need to get a backbone and grow some balls, not going because you're scared? Not taking kids i can understand but other than that get a grip. The noses would piss themselves laughing if they knew people weren't going because they were scared.
