To be honest, I felt saver when Tom was a kid.  Now he's 18 and built like the proverbial brick shite house, I'm very worried.

Are you saying he's too heavy to lob at the Blues?

hehehehe,  just a tad.  If we got about half a dozen of us we may be able to roll him at them.*

*not that I would have used him as a missile when he was younger - oh no.

I remember having this conversation many years ago on the mailing list. The thing is, regardless of how brave you are, how hard you are, how street-wise you are, you can still get a brick on the head from the moronic element which will reduce you to a vegetative state.

I will be going, I remember having to hide my scarf on the way through the city centre in the late 60s, but I perfectly understand why anybody would not fancy it.

What I don't understand is why anybody wants to play them ever.

We'll put. I found the advice on the "knuckle dragers" string helpful. Seems like avoiding the cov road, sounds the best piece of advice I have heard. A number of my mates have also commented on the missile throwing rather than Gettin into a ruck being the main issue.

According to a nose I know, they've sold all their home tickets for the cup game. Any idea if the sold all the tickets they had off us for last weekends game?

Why were there about 150 empty seats then?

Because they still get the 2800 tickets but 400 seats are left empty on the ends of rows because it's safer apparantly. I think thats whats happened with us at the sty, we've got the 4000+ seats but 400 will be left empty. That'll stop everyone falling over, injuring themselves, deaths, fights, the lot.

Why? We're going to achieve nothing in the league apart from avoiding a relegation battle so fuck the league, and if Houllier played our reserves in this game the fans would lynch him.

Well what a ridiculous thing to say, rest the first team for this game, to do what exactly finish 8th? Big deal. Sod the league.

I was referring more to your nonsense about “avoiding relegation”. We won’t play the reserves in this game and I don't think anybody realistically hopes we do or thinks we will.

Loosing this game  to SHA is just unthinkable. This is a MUST win game that will be talked about for many years (if not decades) to come.

Only 3800 of us will be able to say "I was there, when....."

Do you think it will? I've seen us win twice there in the league cup and barely mentioned it again. Boasting about it means we think they are our equals.
