I'll be able to get them a week on Thursday. Holding out hope that there'll be some left.

i'l say again, why is everbody thinking we'l sell out quickly to STH, when we havent before on the last few occasions.

i've been there the last 3 times on a 'any booking history' ticket.

why is this going to be a whole lot bigger,
we have more tickets, and whatever people say its not going to be one for the faint hearted, so loads will be put of and watch it on TV, which is a wise move for many.

its a trip to Blues here, with the walk of death at the end, not a nice quater final at Pompey like last year,
i'm still very hopefull to get a ticket, and i am not a STH

Nice try john e. I doubt they'll be any tickets left after midweek.

The ticket policy is correct imo. Last season I busted a gut to get to the CC Final and missed out by one game. I could have easily gone to Stoke and/or Hull at home but decided to do neither as I thought I had better things to do. Turns out I would have easily picked up a Final ticket had I spent £15 going to either, ergo I only had myself to blame. This season I have attended bit CC games and every home game despite not having a season ticket so if that puts me near the top of the pile then thanks very much. You pays your money, you gets your due.

A few points 'bout this game - none to do with tickets though. First of all my memories of Small Heath away (apologies for the wrong thread-ish) include a League game with the Villa in around 1988 with a whole lot of trouble during the game, and then in the mid-nineties seeing SHA lose again after a Cup game to the team from my current location. Which is why during this game I'll be wishing for a bit more atmosphere, as up here in midweek the pub will be quiet except for a few Man Ure and Bindippers fans. Ah well, that's what I get for leaving the second city... C'mon Villa!

I wonder if any ticketless Villa will buy in the blues end?   None I hope!

How many could we actually sell for this?

A lot of people will be put off by the threat of aggro.

We could have sold thousands more than 3,800 if they went on general sale.

A lot of people would have been enticed by the promise of aggro.
I for one would not have been, and i don't think many others would have been either! I'm sick of going to that place and getting attacked/chased by the lunatics that claim to follow that scum club. Aston social for me, to get lashed with fellow Villa fans, and be able to celebrate knocking the scum out without any worries of being subjected to idiots trying to put me in hospital! UTV

Good luck in getting one anyway. In my experience, I've never failed to get a ticket for a game I really wanted to go to. There's always a way.

There was talk that we were entitled under the regulations to 25% of the ground, or 7000 tickets. You wouldn't have had to worry about being chased.

Decided that I would never go there again after the last time when I was continually spat at and had coins thrown at me. Left well before the end as it just wasn't worth it! (It was a good few years back now though).

Have the police reduced the allocation then?

No, the 'talk' was based upon an incorrect supposition (ie. the 25%). But it was causing a great deal of excitement amongst a certain type of supporter.

Absolutely, the away allocation for Cup games has been 15% for at least 10 years now.

I've been there when we've had almost if not that many, and still got chased! I will give that scum hole a miss thankyou very much.  >:(
