Odds are that it will be tues 30th live on sky with west ham v man u being televised live on the weds night.

Will there be an inclination to field a stronger team rather than rotate ?
Our next game after is Liverpool away switched to the Monday night.
This means we could have almost a full week recovery.

He has to play his strongest team, this is a quarter final v our local rivals and Wembley is in touching distance this is not the time to rotate anyway with the injuries we are picking up, players whose face doesnt seem to fit he is very limited in his rotation options

he has to pick a team that is mentaly strong enough to cope with the most hostile atmosphere

Just a thought!

For the FA Cup, a small club with small support and a small ground are allowed to switch the tie (helps them make a bit of money), perhaps THEY might like to do that for the Carling Cup Quarter Final.

having been to all the recent away games at st Andrews, i'm getting fed up of the 'walk of death' at the end,
i've been knocked down outside the ground once, and chased around another time

i dont mind admiting that if there were coaches laid on from VP i would be tempted to get on one,
i'm getting on for 50 now, and just cant be arsed with all the shit that goes with a trip to there place

will still be there though, no matter what

I was up for going to be honest, but after yesterday, seeing the amount of police, riot vans and so called fans who were just up for causing aggro, reminded me what a pain in the arse these games are and made me have second thoughts about whether it's worth the hassle.

Me too, and if that isn't bad enough you'd be spending £30-£45 to watch a shit game. Taking all that into consideration I'll still probably go.

I have a gut feeling this fixture will be a nightmare for our support. Forget the game itself but the safety of Villa fans getting out afterwards will be very hard to police. No doubt that the nose trolls will leave their pubs/armchairs for this one as they have the cover of darkness to hide behind. They will be drooling at the prospect of this opportunity. Any fixture against them at their place is always a lot worse than games at Villa Park.
