Bad English has been largely anonymous

I heard he's on strike.

He's got his balaclava on, petrol-bombing the Ronde des Pains

Ireland is absolutely cack. At the end he had a great chance to shoot, but ballsed out, and we ended an attack, getting a lucky freekick on our own half, after Dunne was hazzled out of posession.

We are loosing the ball almost every time we try move forward, due to their prescense...Utter shit performance. How we are loosing god knows. Now you better earn your wages Gerrard!

Stephen Ireland has been beyond awful frankly. He looks a born coward out there shying away from anything remotely physical. Dont know why we havent swapped the wingers around. Downing after a good start has been poor and overplayed it. Ashley Young isnt getting a sniff on the other side. We will struggle to create too much with Reo Coker and Sidwell in the middle but still a point here for us. We were well on top until they scored.

Id withdraw Ireland - we are playing with 10 men effectively. Put Young in the hole and Albrighton on the right. Heskey has been good today but we need Young playing off him more. Warnock is struggling with the Egyptian badly but apart from that they aint great. We can get a point but a big half time for Gerard Houllier. Turn this around and our season can get going properly. Lose and we really could struggle. My oh my but we need a central midfielder who is comfortable on the ball in Jan.

Would agree about Beye being good, ok defensively but poor on the ball.

We're better than this.  Must try to get Ashley and Ireland into the game more.  Not seen much from either of them so far.
i think ireland needs to start showing something! 1/4 of the season over and not been impressed by his 5-10 mins of playing in each game. Disappearing too much for my liking at the mo!

You're right Edvard, we really need to start hazzling them when they're in possession

Is it worth watching the 2nd half?

I've only been watching it on this thread, and I'm not impressed.

You're right, we need to up our posting.

Anyone know what posters we have on the bench today?
I'm not sure but I'm not signing an extension to my contract with this site until it convinces me it has the ambition to match my own

On the Sky half-time filler:

"Kenwyne Jones has scored 55% of his goals with his head.  That's more than half."

Why is Mr. Blobby wearing Richard Dunne's shirt?

Why is Ashley Young not playing?

How shit is Stephen Ireland?

I don't know how Petrov got injured, he's done fuck all.

They want it more than us! Get Bannan down the left, take off Ireland, move Ash inside. I'd also give Downing 10 mins or else Albrighton would be on

How ...how are we losing this game?

The other side is attacking and defending better than we are.

It's fortunate that it's only 1, if we buck our ideas up in the second half we can still get something out of this.
