I will buy one of you before the Burnley game Dave if you bring one.

I'm sure he will. You could buy off me though.

How much does one of him cost? About 37p, I reckon.

One of Dave is priceless. One off Dave is £8.

Buy from me, please. Outside the Trinity Road gates.

If you were outside the gates half an hour or so before kick off, I turned down buying one from you, sorry! *guilty smiley*

I was. Naughty man. Next time introduce yourself. I don't bite! Available from me at the next home game (Burnley in the League Cup).

I will try and stop by before Burnley and say hello. I always feel a bit of a gimp asking a seller who they are on here and saying i'm PWS.

That's why all I did was ask you if H&V was a new issue and then mutter excuses to not buy the book, despite your persuasive selling technique. As soon as I have the ££ I will buy one.

Because a publisher's minion made a cock-up. There shouldn't have been any runners-up in there but someone, as I just found out, added an extraneous paragraph after final proofing.

Just to prove that Dave has not usurped my identity:

In the context of "final proofing" what about:
p.17 The Earl of Plymouth was not royalty
p.20 "...the club badge comprised of" should be either "comprised" or "consisted of"
p.42 "fire" should be "fired"
p.48 "once" should be "one"
p.54/55 Why is Young labelled in the diagram while Agbonlahor is mentioned in the text?
p.65 "First World War" should be "Second World War"
p.86 Forced line-break near bottom before "fragile"
p.123 Mis-spelling "Freidal"

It's still a jolly good book and a bargain at the price.

p. 148 "David O'Leary" should read "Pig-nosed twat".

So, when's the final version coming out? - I'll buy it then.  ;)

And another thing: if Dave W has managed to foist a copy of all of his previous publications onto you (for the full face-value, I might add) what new insights can be gleaned from having bought and read this latest output?

Who was by the bus stand outside the church before kick off?

My son Kurtis and his girlfriend Mandy. Why?

Put it his way - they weren't doing much selling.

I apologise to them. I was obviously mistaken.

For a while, they had the good sense to stand a short distance from each other - one selling mags, the other books. They couldn't bear to be apart for long though.
