Sky news on the web reporting that bids have been accepted but sky sports news on the box are reporting they have not. Strange.

Now it's Liverpool, it sometimes seems as though they believe whole country should join their crusade.

Not only that, but there were a fair number of Villa fans who thought the protesters were whingers too, and were apparently happy with the way things were going. As mawkish as the scousers frequently are (and they really are difficult for most rational and stoical folk to stomach), at least they are united and won't settle for being third rate. They might have to settle for being second rate.

I just had a little watch of the video and observed with open mouth the lead singer of Echo and the Bunnymen claim that all the Liverpool fans were being "raped" every week because of their owners.
