OK, I'm going to get shot down for this, but here goes:-

Fair play to them for agreeing to play us.  It was obviously a game we wanted and I doubt it really benefited them at all to be playing a practise match, or at least not as much as it did us.

I now need a shower.

So Daniel Johnson never made it as a singer then, after being on Xfactor....   Is he any good at football?

He's got many rough edges that need ironing out but I'm going to say yes.

EDIT: I should have emphasised that should be said in a Louis Walsh voice.

Good to see additional friendly games being organised on the quiet giving players much needed match practise and GH more time to look at his squad. Good stuff.

GH said last week that after the Wolves game, there was a reserve match and he had fixed up a friendly so that he could see every player involved in a proper match situation as opposed to seeing them in training.

He said he would then have a much clearer idea of the strengths/weaknesses of the squad.

Just have to wait and see whether any of this has caused him to tinker with the line up at Spurs.

No shooting down involved but I'm not sure they've just played us out of the goodness of their hearts. They get to see their fringe players in a pretty competitive match too.

These sort of games are often arranged.  Blues haven't entered a team in the reserve league this season so they have to play training games for their own benefit.

Yes, they played Tamworth a couple of weeks ago as well. (1-1 draw I think).

Maybe, but with a new manager coming in I think we were more in need of doing that than they were.
