Interesting to see the Guardian chalkboards. According to that, Petrov didn't give the ball away once . .
They must be wrong. I distinctly remember him running into one of their players and losing the ball.

It might be that every time he passed the ball it went to a Villa player, but he definitely gave it away at least once.

And (saying this as a big fan of Petrov) he can't have seen the ball more than half a dozen times in the second half to be able to give it away.

I think the incident you refer to was given as a foul
It wasn't - it led directly to a Wolves shot.

Sorry, I don't remember it then.

There's no need to fear these ******. I know they were away but they've just lost to West Ham. Timidly.
They're no different to any Spurs side I've ever seen. You can can get after them, knock them out of their stride.
You just need to be up for it and have some composure.

They'll have their spell but keep it tight and they look like leaking goals.

Hopefully Warnock the Warrior will put another tramline in that idiot's hair... with his studs!

Just kidding. There's no need for that sort of thing (crosses fingers behind back).

Carew and Dunne back to fitness for this game. Gabby doubtful with a slight groin strain.

I know it won't go down well with the roundholers (or is it squareheaders?) but I'd bring back Dunne, move Young to left back and play Carlos at right back.

I'd bring back Dunne

I'd bring him back when he's finished doing his claret-and-blue Tinky-Winky impression

a lot depends on warnock against lenon

With a winger like Lennon it's not so much a case of Warnock having a good game against him, even though that obviously helps, but a tactical plan to keep him from being in that dangerous one on one position.

No no no no.

I'd sooner Lichaj played at right back. But I'd stick with Warnock. He has a few kinks in his game but its only by playing he'll iron them out. And Dunne can wait his turn. Cuellar and Collins have done nothing wrong.

Carlos was superb Sunday. It makes no sense moving him just to play Dunne ( who tbf has been poor so far)
Keep it as it is, play players in their correct positions.
After their last 2 performances after CL games, and with their injuries, i fancy us to at least get a draw.

Carlos and Collins have done nothing to deserve being dropped or shunted out of position and I very much doubt they will be.
