1-1

Aggy and One of their strikers to score I 'spose.
I'd love Gabby to score, he needs a goal.

After our last two games, I think the players must be going into it with a lot of confidence. Spurs have the better players, but you never know.

I'm certainly more confident about getting a result.

Can Heskey carry on playing like a man possessed?

Heskey to score.

Hoping the midweek Euro game takes it out of Spurs, but not too sure given they've got that, and then our game, on their own patch.

I'll take a draw right now.

1-1 Ivanhoe, and Spurs to annoy with a late equaliser.

No Defoe, hardly any central defenders fit, on the back of a tough European game midweek; I reckon we'll have these.  We always used to do alright at Spurs so it's about time we won there again.

0-2 (Young, Downing)

I fancy us with them playing a big game on Wednesday night. Also, Dawson is a big loss - they all rave about Ledley King, but Dawson was their main man last year.

Draw would be a good result here. I struggle to see us keeping a clean sheet, which you normally need at WHL to win (they only ever seem to lose league sgames 1-0 at home).

I agree Petrov looks knackered, but Ireland and NRC is too lightweight I feel, so we don't have a huge amount of choice I feel.

I don't see the case for Collins playing in centre midfield, I don't think he is mobile enough. Cuellar has to play.

As usual whenever there tends to be mostly positive predictions on a pre match thread, the opposite usually happens (see Stoke!)

I'd be very happy with a point from this fixture despite all Spurs's injuries and them playing on wedneday night.

Main thing for me is we need to keep the ball much better than in the away games at Stoke and Wolves in the second half.

If we don't then the likes of Bale, Modric and VDV will hurt us big time.

2-1 Spurs.

A draw would be a great result I think. They will want to bounce back after losing to the hammers.

A tight 1-1 draw with Downing on the mark for us again.

Interesting to see the Guardian chalkboards. According to that, Petrov didn't give the ball away once . .

They must be wrong. I distinctly remember him running into one of their players and losing the ball.

It might be that every time he passed the ball it went to a Villa player, but he definitely gave it away at least once.

And (saying this as a big fan of Petrov) he can't have seen the ball more than half a dozen times in the second half to be able to give it away.

They'll exploit our inability to keep hold of the ball and we'll be soundly beaten, two or three nil.
