How the feck people didn't die the day we were all crammed into the corner of that old stand at Swindon (page 3) on promotion day 1988 still amazes me. I was also in the infamous crush at Upton Park (1991?), I still shudder to think what might have transpired had there been perimeter fencing preventing the overspill onto the pitch.
It's nice to look back at some the old grounds and reminisce, but a lof them were death traps and bettter off consigned to rubble.
