Blackburn match goals.

Amazing footage. 106 years old. Is this the oldest footage of Aston Villa playing?

Will move to Memories once the hilarious "not really from last night" joke has worn thin.

Now, let's build on this result.

The indifferent shooting is a bit concerning though.

Could murder a pint of Nuttall's Double Stout.

Interestingly the BFI archive has this footage down as Blackburn Rovers vs `Unidentified.' The bounders

ITV's coverage has really gone downhill over the years.

I love this kind of stuff. Gives me a real tingle down the spine to see a connection to the past and wondering if people will watch last night's highlights in 100 years...that's why this is the greatest club in the world.

I get the same feeling when I realise I have stood on that terrace.

I also love to see old footage of the villa in action.

Great stuff to see.  Appalling weather yet none of them are in tights or gloves.  I can't actually make out the ball in any of it so it looks like we're just strolling around aimlessly.

No change there then.

I get a similar thing at matches now, looking at that rectangle of grass, thinking how many times I've stood there watching it, and how my ancestors did the same right back to the day we moved there pretty much.

Have been searching without success.

Nice to know we've never been able to defend balls hoofed in to the box
