great, well not inspiring I take it. Let's not lose to Sam 'Real Madrid' Allardyce please.

Two home cup games, two cup exits?

Post-MON is becoming increasingly like pre-MON...

I'm watching the cricket, listening to the boy Lard on the wireless/stereogram and keeping up with the Villa on here.  Who said men can't multitask?
What's Lard like on his own? Does he still do biggedybiggedybongs?

No biggedybiggedybonnnnnngs!  No mustn't grumbles, fancy a brew or anything like that, but he's still very witty on his own and it's the best music show on the radio.  Radcliffe is on Radio 2 from 8-10pm in the studio next door to Lardy boy.

I do miss their show, absolute comedy gold they were.

Looks like Villa are not really interested in winning this one. :(

?
I meant judging by the starting team we are taking it on the "if it goes our way OK, if not who cares" basis. Surely not the best possible starting 11. Score so far is not surprising.

Didn't we get to the final in this cup under MON last year? and the semi in the other cup?

To be fair, with the exception of last season, we've been fucking awful in this competition at home in recent years (QPR, Leicester, Sheff Weds...) - even under MON which is sad because this used to be OUR trophy.

Think we will be a lot brighter seconh half. New system, new tactics etc!! midfield looked lost to be honest. Expect much better second 45

Time for GED to weave his magical teamtalk , you'd think with a new boss players would be trying out of their skin but the likes of sidwell aren't up to it- you can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear I guess.

I think we will come out all guns blazing and win 3-1!
