And I'd like to know what you think of this issue's layout.

I do think a free gift of a small magnifying glass or a monocle or some kind of pince-nez should have been included for the benefit of old farts like me with failing eyesight.

I'm working on the words needed to try and convince Mrs Shirt that reading the latest edition to me could prove a new and exciting form of foreplay.

In the absence of a picne-nez, one of those powerful light bulbs attached to a head band would be spiffing. Chap that came to fix my plumbing when the lights were out said that he got his from the Pound Shop.

Bastard. We've only got a Ninety-Nine Pee Shop.

Fuck it I'm going to bed.

Really good read as always. Didn't expect one to be out so soon after the first game though so missed that issue.

Always seems strange to me there's always one out so soon after the first issue and then we don't have another issue until the middle of November which I think is another four home games away after 2 in 3 home games. Surely it would make more sense to have one in October then space it out every month from then although I accept with a new manager plenty of articles to fill it with!

We always have the second of the season quickly after the first. The next one would have been for Blackpool but that's a night game

Fair enough Dave.

Can I buy the first issue off this website?

We'll have a few at the match from Chelsea onwards.

Putting Oldies' eyesight problems to one side, the H&V typeface is very small. Might it be worth considering the use of a sans serif font such as Arial? My work with partially-sighted people proved to me that the legibility of teaching materials was markedly improved by the adoption of sans serif fonts - like the ones used on this web site.

First thing I noticed was the ad for DW's new book. I did a double-take. It's clearly been *designed* and *illustrated* as well as written.

I might be able to persuade number 1 son to read it

Some good articles in there. The recurring theme about getting our club back stood out.
