0% Villa- Messi Playing on Hackney Marshes
« on: September 15, 2010, 04:54:17 PM »
Just turned on Sky Sports News and Leo Messi has turned up in a helicopter to join in a match with a load of kids.

It's one of the strangest things I've ever seen.

It begs the question, why didn't Stefan Moore come to my school for a kickabout?

Imagine being the kid that he replaces, would that be a good or bad thing?

It'll be an advertising / pre-planned thing.

Barcelona (and their insurers) would go mental if he'd really started playing football with random kids on a public park.

Yeah, it's for Adidas. Apparantly he only played 15 minutes.

I didn't think he's just turned up ;)

He probably wouldn't want to get shown up.

Are Barcelona playing on Saturday or Sunday this week? Is he free to do a fifteen minute turn for us?

Friedel lamps the ball to the half way line, the ball lands at Osbourne's feet, he kicks it forward and somehow it reaches Sidwell, onto Messi ( he meant it to go to Reo Coker but Reo Coker was running backwards) ...  Messi - Messi still - it's a goaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllll !!

what i found funny was that the blues and whites were playing football,  they scored a goal,  ball brought back to centre spot and they were about to kick off and then all the players buggered off to messi, lol  ball still sat in centre circle ha ha

The whole thing looked entirely set up. Both teams were actors/extras.
