I quite like Pulis.

I hate his brand of football, i hate that chavvy baseball cap and tracksuit look which makes him look like a minor member of the Soprano family, and I don't like Stoke City, but he always seems to speak quite well of us.

And, regardless of the dross they play, he's done an excellent job there.

One question about Downing's goal - how the fuck do you bend the ball in from a header?!

The spin was on the ball anyway from Gabbys cross. It was just a case of accuracy from the header and he had that spot on.

Pulis is one of the good guys.

Gabby just ran 60 yards. We've missed him so much.

That's what I thought. He took it very well. He's played perhaps his best game for us up to now.

Someone on Radio 5 said Tony Pulis wasn't there [at least for the first half] due to a family bereavement.

Yep. Agree. An underated manager. Not full of himself either like a Phil Brown.

I think Reo has been a big difference here in all honesty.  Very good, understated first half, but solid and allowed the rest of the midfield to wander a bit and get involved.  Also hasn't played a bad pass.  :P

yep agreed hes fine when he just does the simple stuff get the ball and lay it offbeen impressed with him and downing

Thirded.
