Why isn't that a penalty on Petrov?

Anybody else got Yorke as co-commentator?

Sadly yes. I don't think he's found his new vocation somehow.

Blatant trip on Petrov in the box.

The ref ignores a deliberate trip on Petrov from that corner.

Walters dirty little prick. Stoke are horrendous to watch. Hope they go down and stay there.

we need leaders.. we aint got them

I've been saying that for years.  Our team is way too nice, we need a right nasty bastard in midfield.  Hopefully our new manager will realise this.

Eyes and ears?

Eyes: imagine The Scream, against a background of disused coal mines.

Ears: imagine the low rumble of moaning.

I wonder if there's a less effective central midfield pairing than Petrov and NRC anywhere in world football?

What can they do when the majority of the ball is over their heads.

Come and get it and, in particular Petrovs case, don't pass it back every single time.

It doesn't matter if they are coming short to get the ball. All of the defenders think Carew is still playing. Friedal man of the match so far.

It is laughable the way Downing calls himself a professional footballer, and yet constantly runs away from the ball. Pathetic.
