Aye, because Tottenham need a few more midfielders alright.

I genuinely wouldn't have thought that any club would ever do a transfer deal purely motivated by the thought of extra publicity, but with that shower you do wonder.

I loved all the candle burning scousers stating that Torres respecetd the club and knew what Liverpool was all about - then a few hours later Torres is on Chelsea TV stating that he moved to a bigger club - ha ha

They will be crying into their shell suits on Thieveside

Torres didn't want to be there and apparently their new record signing wasn't all that fussed about coming either.

Yes, 'arry was saying it was very close, and Blackpool saying they were miles away from signing him, just wonder if it was Droopy was feeling left out of last nights circus. He shouldn't have signed him anyway, he keeps refering to him as Adams....twat.

Talksport asked 'arry how much they bid for Adam and he reckoned £6.5-7m - despite Blackpool supposedly turning down £10m from Liverpool.

I wonder whether Adam is the same player now in a Blackpool shirt or does a yorkie, seems Blackpool have really priced him into staying, arry was sure it was £7m max that they bid and was accepted so must be bollocks about Liverpool .

So we smash our transfer recored and yet it is only 5th most expensive striker in the window after Torres, Carroll, Dzeko and Suarez. Not that I'm complaining, I think we probably got the best value, just struggling to get my head round it all.
