Well that about wraps it up for me, what a great transfer window and today was really great viewing! We got rid of some of the deadwood and got some great buys in, see you all at Villa Park on saturday!

Ireland in behind Carrol might have done all right, I can't see him doing well enough to get Newcastle to take a chance on him in the Summer now.

I think we'll be stuck with that twat for a while.

Having diligently done little work today and spent my time looking at this thread for what's going on I decided to give up at 6pm due to confusion. It was a transfer window at that point without Harry, is that really allowed in 2011?

Returning tonight to find that Harry had tried so hard with about 30 seconds left of the window to secure Adams but failed because of a a couple of signatures.

Does Harry crave the company of SSN, does he have to appear to be doing something when he's doing nothing, is it Harry, is it Spurs, what is it?

Spurs have little dick syndrome and they're always hungry for attention.
Sky and the media at large encourage it for some reason. A last minute failed bid for a Blackpool player is still one of the headlines for instance.

Anyway, I'm away to my pit. SKY make me sick but I'm delighted with this window. Well done Villa. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season and seeing how the youth and new recruits get on.
There is a freshness about the place again.

I'd say that's an excellent window - some of the dead wood out, as well as youngsters going out to gain some experience. Add to that a new Right Back, 2 Midfielders and the Goalscorer we've been crying out for.

Good summary VS, though Walker is also apparently viewed as a potential permanent move in the summer.

A great window for us, though some other clubs appear to have gone totally barmy.
