OH NO, NEWCASTLE ARE WITHOUT A NUMBER 9!  DISASTER!  How could this have happened?!  Newcastle have to have a famous number 9!

Can't they just promote Leon Best or at worst get Thick Mick Quinn back from Talksport?

Well I think it is time to open the Summer Window...I'll start... Mat Kendrick stated on a live chat thingy this afternoon that Moussa Sissoko from Toulouse is a confirmed summer target. Which is nice!

This from Oliver Kay's twitter page earlier made me laugh.

"So if Liverpool buy Louis Suarez and Andy Carroll, this means they'll have Lou & Andy up front.. "Yeah I know."

The window has slammed shut. We managed to keep hold of Ashley Young because our demands were unreasonable. Unfortunately we succeeded in our panic buy of the most consistant striker in the premier league, but were unable to pay an English record fee for a player who has 5 months experience at the top level, this demonstates our lack of ambition. We failed in our bid for another 5 month veteran and had to content ourselves with an experienced world cup player. We could not keep hold of quality players like Sidwell, Osbourne, Ireland, Carew etc which shows a general decline and an obvious lack of commitment from the owner, not to mention the incompetance of the manager who obviously cannot fart in the general direction of the previous encumbent. We are facing disaster.

If Newcastle have no number 9, how will they win all those trophies they've never won?

Oh well, at least the local sandwich fillings got to wave at the camera.

Don't worry, Keegan will answer their SOS. Someone hire him a helicopter.

If we all stick together we'll be okay. In MON we trust.

I wonder if Torres will be allowed to play against Liverpool on Sunday?
