Leon Best and Shola Ameobi.

Think we have got the best goalscorer of the window in Bent, but Liverpool have done well for their fans in Suarez, Carroll, Adam. They are 3 players who will create/ score goals for them. Be interesting where Gerard will fit into that now though.

Can't see how anyone can think Carroll is a good signing at £35m - decent player in his 1st season At this level and a dodgy temperament to boot.

I would have thought a similar to fee to bent at around £18m would be reasonable but Liverpool have paid way over the odds, they could have signed benzema and another world striker for that money and I think it's a big risk on a player so young.

I was watching and thinking the same thing. Talking complete shite! The difference in the way they're talking about the two clubs in us and Liverpool just never ceases to amaze me.
I've never seen money burn a whole in someones pocket quite as quickly as with Liverpool football club. Do u reckon they've turned around to Chelsea and said, don't bother paying us, here's the sort code and account number for mike Ashley, deposit £35 million in there for us.

if Liverpool had offered 18 - 25 mill for Carroll, they wouldnt have got him,
Newcastle are only selling because the price is right, and even then it will leave them in the shit
