BLUES HOPE LARSSON SIGNS NEW DEAL

Birmingham are hopeful that winger Sebastian Larsson will sign a new contract after failing to agree personal terms with Newcastle and Aston Villa.

Larsson is out of contract in the summer and previous attempts to reach agreement over a new deal at St Andrew's have faltered.

The Sweden international was also linked with a deadline-day move to Manchester City but the club's acting chairman Peter Pannu said: "Regarding Seb, although his agent had failed to reach any agreement with Newcastle and Villa, their loss may be our gain.

"Hopefully closer to the (summer) window, we can sit down with Seb again and, with the market tested by his agent, we can come to a sensible agreement finally."

Wow, wow. Wow. Liverpool being praised on SSN for the way they've conducted their transfers (including the Carroll one). Wow. Weren't we pretty much slated for the Bent one? I'm absolutely flabbergasted.

Not happening...........I have inside info that he is going abroad and was never gonna join Villa, Newcastle

Had a quick look at RAWK- the Ashley Young thread is equally annoying, deluded and strange. Despite all the qoutes saying he is not for sale they are discussing it like it has happened. The 'lets get bullying' comment made me chuckle... I believe they tried that to get in fat arsed Barry with 0% success.

Yes they must be very pleased with the way they asked Carrol to put in a transfer request to make the deal possible today.
