I'd love to join in the laughing at what they're supposedly paying for Carroll, but the truth is I think he's going to score lots of goals for them or go mental, or score lots of goals and then go mental... or go mental and not score so many goals... or something.

What if Liverpool sign Carroll for 35 millions and Suarez for 20 millions and suddenly see Chelsea pull out in last minutes. They would have an interesting attack and probably used all the transfer budget for few years.

Not yet. Apparently Torres has still got to be agreed with Chelski and the northern gypsy's caravan is being towed to Liverpool as we speak so that deal is done fast when the Ladyboy is seduced finally by Terry.
