Ozz we denied this morning having recieved the bid , according to the sun the bid was made this afternoon at 12.42, and would be quite logical as torres deal is now on.

We have refused to sell as we said we would do, but it seems a bid has now been made since our denial this morning. Just because we said we hadn't recieved a bid this morning does not mean we haven't recieved one now!

Seems as though we have rebuffed them anyway.

Andy Carroll has 11 goals in 20 games this season. Prior to that, he scored 19 in 42 in the Championship.

If Liverpool pay anything like 35m for that, then what we paid for Bent is the deal of the century by comparison.

35m for Carroll says far more about the fuckedness of the game than 50 does for Torres.
