The Spahic rumour I mean.
I'm all for it, it's just that The Metro can come up with some dodgy stuff at times.

There was pretty strong hints from his agent (or one of them) a few weeks back that this one was close, but that they wanted to be sure of the managerial situation here.

He was rested/dropped the weekend prior to Bent arriving and it looked on then. I thought this one might have been put on a backburner with the improving form of Collins and Dunne. But if he hasn't played for Montpelier this weekend and Tayls reckons there's a CB on the way it's most likely to be him.

Fee mentioned two weeks ago was £5-6 million.
