Not only had he addressed the midfield but has sorted out the right back and striker positions which  we have been in need of doing for the past 3 or 4 yrs - great month of business!

Walker is still very young - he'll learn to be smarter defensively. I think he's a great talent. People on these boards are too quick to write players off - I remember some idiots saying Hogg was no good - yet he looks very promising after a few games under his belt. It's obvious some people only play football on computer games!

Yes , the options make it easy to adapt our tactics and formation and play varying systems depending on opposition and how games are going, also the bench is starting to look strong, I really think next season could be very exciting, but so could the next 3 months.

He's highly regarded at Villa, as a holding midfielder. Whether he'll get his chance remains to be seen, especially now Makoun has come in.

NRC would be very lucky to get £40 grand a week seeing as he is so limited in ability(and to say he could get that is a daming indictment of players wages these days). Great engine, yes, but very little else to offer.  I feel he is getting ideas above his station somewhat.

Interesting conundrum. Should someone come in on Monday for Young, what is the minimum you would sell for. I think it is clear he is likely to leave this summer anyway, and could be argued that he needs a move to stop stagnating. I would take anything above 20 million this window I think. From Liverpool I would take 19.75 and Babbel though, as you could still sell Babbel for 6 million in the summer and he would give a forward in return that has got potential.
