for me at least, I've always found American players quite well suited to the PL. I played in the US from 1995-1997 at Unversity, and the one thing I found is that they are all very physical and fit. Since then they've also developed a number of technically sound players due to the influx of coaches from around the world. Many people thought Landon Donovan would be too lightwieght for the PL when he played for Everton. He was anything but and fitted right in. I've always been impressed with Dempsey at Fulham, and I think Bradley actaully has the good traits of both of these players. He also only 23 so a lot of good years ahead of him.

I'm surprised it hasn't appeared on Sky or BBC yet.

Watched Bradley intently in the WC as we was linked with him at the time.

The most "offensive" American midfielder, always looking for a pass foward, nice shot, and good passer.

Has a bit of pace as well/.Played on the right if i remember. Not the best at tracking back, but i think that was his role in the team to stay more foward.

Advocated buying him at the time, certainly an improvement on Petrov and NRC for me.

We already have a baldy centre-mid who likes to get forward and will be here in Feb.

If "that" bady centre mid ever got his act together we'd be set for a good for years along with the recent additions and kids coming through. sadly, I don't hold out too much hope for our incumbent baldy centre midfielder.

For Ireland a slow slump down through the leagues await.

Each new club poorer than the last and at each signing on press conference he will unfurl a tail of woe and bad luck that has condemned him to this slump, refusing to admit it was his fault 'but it will be different here' he will say.

Yep, there was some split in the US fan base early on that Micheal only got a spot on the team because his dad was coach...of course the majority of that crowd shut up during the run up to the Cup and after the games because he produced rather well for the team.
