Am I the only one that thinks Muntari is a complete liability then? Always looks ready to be sent off to me, and rarely played well apart from for Portsmouth at VP a couple of times.

There is another Ghanain midfielder I would much prefer but cannot recall the name of - really impressed in the world cup.

Michael Bradley would be a good signing though - works really hard, gets forward well and knows where the net is. American players invariably do well in the premiership.

You're possibly thinking of Anthony Annan, the holding player. I thought he was good as well, but beware 'good tournament' syndrome, obviously, and I know nothing else about him so I'm reserving judgement.

I'm less convinced about Bradley. We have now got plenty of drive and tenacity in midfield, what we need now is a bit more class and vision. Bradley's a good player, but I'm not sure he fills those criteria.

You're not the only one. Muntari does nothing for me either...

Nor me. A bit average. This young man, on the other hand, I think is very good...

Makoun and Bradley with Bannan or Downing just ahead as playmaker in a mid 3. Sounds good to me.

CM was our major problem early season and Ged seems to be rectifying it. A bit of pro-activity is good to see.

Michael Bradley is excellent. He works his bollocks off and he's got a lot of talent. Brilliant bit of business if this is confirmed.

Bradley

If he does well then we probably wont offer NRC a new contract, and Ireland will probably be off in the summer.

As much as I like NRC, Bradley's a big step up.

I think so too. Out of the blue this one, but another superb bit of business if it happens.

Bradley is very good. Younger than I thought too.

As Supertom said a midfield with two from Makoun, Bradley, Petrov and Delph flanking Bannan or Downing would be quite something. We don't need no overrated Charlie Adam with that available.

I might even be tempted to say Hey Houllier leave that midfield alone in the summer if Bradley is available permanently.

In my opinon, he's a lot like Dempsey but better. Get's stuck in, can break from midfield with pace, and has a superb engine. If we can sign him permanently we'll have a tremendous midfield with Makoun in there also.

Apparently deals been done to loan Bradley till end of season with option to buy.  He has 1.5 years left of his current contract.
