I took it to mean 8/10 who have encountered 'The Situation' didn't enjoy the experience and wouldn't wish to repeat it and the other 2 don't exist.

I rated Davies a lot to begin with but the errors and sheer shit for brains defending that nearly gave me an annyeurism put paid to that.

I don't think Larsson has to replace anyone Ger. He's not a bad player, and will just add to our squad. Our kids are brilliant but having a few more seasoned PL pros around isn't such a bad thing. Larsson is a better player than most give him credit for and I think will be better by stepping up into our squad. Look how poor Hleb has looked since he's been there, yet he was brilliant at Arsenal. Larsson's no Hleb, but he'd benefit from being with us. That's just my take on it.

So Liverpool are turning down a £40 million bid from Chelsea for Torres... whilst chasing Ajax super striker Suarez.

Either way, whether or not Torres goes to Chelsea he'll be leaving in the summer. Can't see how Liverpool can attract him to stay at the club when they've won nothing since he signed for them and now finishing in the top 4 is seen as an 'achievement'.

-Buy Torres for £26M (and have only just recently paid that off lol)
-Sell him for £40M +
-Buy Suarez for £18-20M

Good buisness under the circumstances except Suarez is no Torres, but still a fantastic striker. Scored 45 goals last season in Holland? I'm sure he'd make the transition to the Premier League but you can't exactly except the same from him.

I don't think Larsson is great but he does have a bit of the Arsenal about him where he's comfortable recieving the ball in tight situations and playing a decent pass, that seems to be the mentality that Ged's trying to build here so I don't think it'd be a bad move when thinking about it

Few up of us buying squad players. MON made an art of it. You want to buy players who are 1st team quality and who compete for their places. Dont want a bench of space saver tyres.
