I also see that CAREW has had a go at Ged now he is away.
I also noted that with disinterest. Getting Carew out of the club is equally as pleasing for me as getting Makoun in.

What are 8/10s? Is it some sort of alcopop?

That's what I want to know, too.

My only concern about Davies is it's another player out which reduces the squad numbers again - we are now down on the numbers from the start of January - I thought GH intended to increase the squad this month? We saw what happened when we had the injuries earlier this season. Why can't we build the squad numbers up to cope with injuries and suspensions? Why help Blose out - they are still a relegation rival. Can't believe how we rollover in these situations - especially to that shower!

Wrong on just about every count, I'm afraid.

If players like Davies and Sidwell go, who don't play, and are replaced by the likes of Makoun and Walker, who will, then in real terms we've increased the strength of the squad.

And we hardly 'rolled over' for SHA when they've made an offer for a player we wanted rid of.  Milner/Man City it was not.

People are getting confused. I like Collins and Dunne. They did great last season. This season however they've been a joke (although they're getting better). All I'm saying is that past merits don't make them immune from harsh criticism and not being dropped. The in-form players should always be in the team.
I seem to remember some really scathing, and justified, criticism on here (for Dunne in particular) earlier in the season. And wasn't he also dropped at one point?
BOTH Dunne and Collins' criticism was justified. Again, I'm not making any scapegoats here even though I witnessed Collins get fairer treatment on here despite being equally shit.

If I can recall correctly (pls tell me if i'm wrong) Dunne was dropped cos' he had a paddy in training ranting and raving at Houllier. That did him the world of good though as it put him back in his place and he's been performing well since.

You're making a bigger fool of yourself with every post Situation. Don't stop. I'm off to find a comfy seat, and grab a beer and some popcorn.

It's either that the men he was seeing were worth a score of 8 out of 10, or he was seeing between 8 to 10 men.

I can't work it out.

Anyone got any candles handy? I see Torres has told the bindippers he wants out to Chelsea. Good old King Kenny working his magic again. Look forward to hearing what Pinnochio, John Aldridge and Fat Boy And Thick With It Quinn have got to say about that...

I'm looking forward to Oliver Holt's article on MON and Curtis Davies: how the best manager in the country (currently without club) turned a £9m centre-back into an emergency Scott Dann replacement....

Anyway, off for a late lunch... with a nine out of tenner....  ;)

Actually, I need to go into a meeting now and don't want to miss anything.  Can we put this on hold until 4:00ish?

If you do, I promise to give you the phone numbers of a few 9/10s!

A girl who is 8/10 in looks and body. i.e. Susan Boyle would be a 2/10 and Megan Fox is a 10/10.

I only date 8/10's and 9/10's though (no 7/10's or below. yuck) because I don't want to be seen with a girl who is better looking than me.

I'm more surprised that Care in the community Roman has decided to start spending big again.
Maybe he was inspired by our Darren Bent purchase!

I think it alludes to only young ladies that are attractive enough to get an 8 out of 10.

I believe an 8/10 is a reference made to the attractiveness of women by men who normally dont spend time with them as they can only get 2/10 women. The 8/10ers have late lunches with these saddos for the sake of thier careers but then marry, and have children with the men who end up picking their childrens  lego off the floor.

Hmm late lunches or late nights with 8/10 ers tough choice................

Situation you are a twat!
