Nothing to lose, as long as he does not interfere with Albrighton's development, which I'm sure it wont. Marc's got a lot to learn  and he is not always going to be fit or in form so why not?

Fair enough.

I can't get excited too much about him, however many journalists say how good his delivery is,plus the fact he's actually played 2 games back to back, which is more than we can say for Salifou!

So what?

Larsson - Petrov - Makoun
Ash - Bent - Gabby

Makoun - Delph

Albrighton - Young - Downing

Bent (or Gabby)

There's not a lot of tackling going to be done in that midfield 5, other than from Delph.

Have no beef with it myself. Davies has proven to not be good enough in a Villa shirt. Larsson may not be either, but he might pleasantly surprise. We have nothing to lose especially as we will get some money out of the deal. The way i look at it, Davies off the wages and larsson in with his first 12 months or so wages paid. Its then up to him to show he's good enough to start.

think davies will be a good signing for Bham if it comes off. He had many good games for the club but our roster at centre half is full at the moment.

We can be outnumbered in the midfield a bit with Young, Downing or Albrighton out wide. Larsson will tuck in a bit and works harder. Albrighton and Downing can be liabilities in this regard. A good crosser of the ball but very one paced. Cant see us losing any money on him anyway so its a bit of a no risk signing.

Quite. Plus Ash and Albrighton cover lots of ground and get stuck in too.

Larsson works harder than Young and Albrighton?

Yeah, I dont think so.

Delouse him, disinfect him and as long as the medical includes a check for golden bollocks tattoos then sign him up!

Yes please, can shoot, big Wenger recommendation, versatile, good squad member, better than letting Curtis go free, more use than  Sidwell, no brainer.

All in my humble opinion but I reckon Warnock and Konchesky will straight swap by Monday.

Having given this a bit of thought I'd be really surprised if it happens. It needs both clubs to agree a deal, then both players to be open to the move, terms then to be sorted out and the window closes on Monday.
