He's got a fantastic delivery from set pieces. Can't see him being any more than a squad player.

Total waste gaining Larsson. Just sell for 3.5m and Davies off the wage bill. Thats worth about 4m then if Davies contract is until the summer. Nearly half what we paid .........

That does seem a strange one, we are probably going to stuggle to keep our midfielders happy as it is without adding another ordinary one to the equation. If there is someone leaving I'd have much rather have gone for Bentley when he was available.

I wouldn't sell them Davies either for no reason other than spite.

Not the worst player in the world but I wouldn't want him in ahead of Albrighton, and he can only play one position as far as I understand. Do we really need four wingers? Does any side?

Plus he'd be coming on a decent wedge as he's close to the end of his contract there. We want to get away from reserves on stupid money.

New LB? OK. Even on a short-term deal. New CM? OK. Seb Larrson? NO K.

I really don't think Albrighton's ready just yet. He's gonna be a player but he isn't half a liability at times, dives into tackles and can be a bit of a headless chicken. If Houllier is going to use the squad as much as it looks like a right sided player with better decision making and who uses the ball better might be an idea. Not sure if Larsson's that man but he's certainly got some decent attributes and for a nominal fee it could be a good idea.

He can play fullback as well can't he? Attacking option there but another possibility...
