If there's any chance at at all that Ireland's Villa career can be resurrected we should certainly give it a try.  There's a great player in there somewhere.

Dunne has shown that you can make it up with Houllier, so Ireland (and Warnock) shouldn't necessarily be written off just yet.

Count me in for this.

If Ireland weren't such a bell-end then he is just the player we need.

If Houllier can stop him from being said bell-end then well done him.

I'm not going to hold my breath though.

You can't resurrect something that never existed.

I think we should all be hoping that Ireland can sort himself out, he could be a real star for us.

Yea old Matty k babbling on about maybe one more signing ( as above). Hope so. I personally think we need a better heskey type play to play up with benty or an attacking cm. I have a feeling it may be a cm though or samba ( but do we need a cb) ??
would like to see Charlie Adam but think we may need someone with a bit more top flight experience

But do u remember the old if adebyor goes to Madrid we could get benzema.  WOW benzema and benty up top :-)

You're banned pmk1981. so you're banned in this incarnation too

It better not be Adam, unless it's for no more than 5 million, if Liverpool have pulled out, we would be mugs to pay there over inflated asking price.

Never going to happen. See Curcic, see Collymore etc.
For the more pedantic and intellectually challenged amonst us (actually needing evidence) read a few quotes from the above. Now, i'd like evidence of a similar situation in our history where it has turned around and worked out well.........

Anyone considered this?

Adam is STILL at Blackpool, and Warnock hasn't yet moved to Liverpool. Do you think, that Houllier and Dalglish may have done some kind of a deal where they get Warnock on the promise they stand aside from signing Adam? Thus leaving it a one horse race to sign him? That would make Holloway look a right twat!
