If Small Heath paid £3-4m for Curtis Davies, that would maybe free up some spending money for Charlie Adam.

I would pay £5.5m maximum for Adam, I think if he was going to go to Liverpool he would have gone by now so offer that on the night before the transfer window clses directly to the Blackpool board and them until the morning to give an answer. I think they would take £5.5m, bollocks to Holloway!

These two wins have given us time, we're not going to go down and we're away from the relegation zone so now we can just concentrate and building for next season.

Let Clark have the left back slot for now, and have Baker as his understudy to give them as many minutes as possible, and if we need it then we've Luke Young to do a job there.

It'd be pointless signing any old left back now if Houllier has someone in mind for the Summer. Like wise keeper.

I'd say the only priority we have at the moment is a creative centre midfield player, Bent thrives on balls through the middle and we still don't have anyone (bar Ireland) who can deliver those defence cutting passes. But again we can do without one for now if there's someone he wants in the Summer.

I think it would be a mistake if we did'nt bring in a recognised left back. We'd be fine if Luke Young plays there, but i personally don't think Clark and Baker are suitable full backs.

Clark has played better there than Warnock has for the last year. I think we will be ok to tide over till the summer with what we have there.

Midfield wise I agree re the lack of a creator. But who barring Adam is out there that is available during January.
