It doesn't mean much apart from perhaps increasing the amount of his buy out clause but Aguero has only recently signed a new contract and they only bought Godin last Summer.

Aly Cissokho would be a good shout at left back but having looked on wiki he's played  most of the games this year for Lyon and moved there for a hefty fee. I think with Clark, Warnock and tonight Baker showing that they can all cover that position we'll leave it to the Summer before we look to strengthen that area.

Kendrick said we were looking elsewhere for a left back but nothing had become available and we were no nearer identifying one- I agree a left back should be top priority, as I don't see warnock or beye ever playing again for us.

Said GH was no longer searching for one as their emergance can get us through till May without. I would agree in fairness, add Luke Young in who is confident and actually quite good there, if the player we want can't come until the summer then so be it.

Didn't Houllier sign quite attacking full backs at Liverpool too and then play them in certain games? Riise/ Heggen??? Right back that was blisteringly fast, Ziegle? They spring to mid, and all pretty good.

Interesting move that - I know most people think he is utter shite, but I think there is a good player in Jenas, and could be a good signing in the way we are looking to play. But I am probably wrong.
