Wonderful Wiki page that. "He called Specialist of Left foot by fans" has to be my favourite line on it. It says he's a midfielder as well, so putting that with being left-footed and loved incoherently by people with half-a-grasp on the English language, I'd say he's the Korean Charlie Adam.

By the way, Adam? Honda? This guy? Does Houllier have a thing to find a left-footed midfielder, or are they just all like that these days? Funny coincidence that.

Only if you believe the press. Or more precisely that Alan "Nicko" Nixon from the Mirror.

to be fair paulie ive just read 4 different newspapers all saying adam is demanding to be allowed to liverpool, granted mirror was one of those , but if he had a choice of liverpool or us , i think he would go to liverpool in all honesty.

Adam will go to Liverpool though I think so I really can't see us signing him now.

Adam to Liverpool - a shrewd bit of transfer dealing by King Kenny

Adam to Villa - tapped up journeyman

If he play for Liverpool, he won't have to relocate as well.

Ten days ago none of us believed Bent would leave Sunderland for Villa.

As an idiot I used to know was fond of saying, assume makes an ass of "u" and "me" (and the twat really did do the quotation marks with his fingers).

id love to sign adam, chris but can you really see him coming here ahead of liverpool? villa or sunderland is a much different choice to villa or liverpool sadly.

All things being equal then on balance I'd say that he's more likely to choose Liverpool but I don't think that it's beyond the realms of possibility that he'll come to us.

A couple of papers reporting it, however, is neither here nor there as they get far more wrong than they get right when it comes to transfer speculation.

That baldy bastard Holloway seems to be pushing him in the direction of Liverpool.

That said, if we really put the effort in, we could get him.

There are rumours he's desperate to come here. Maybe he thinks he'll more likely play in our midfield than Liverpool's?
Fuck knows, but the press like the idea of Liverpool coming in and doing it all classy like whereas as we're taking the piss with our derisory offers, despite the fact that Liverpool haven't even made an actual bid and their supposed "verbal bid" doesn't top ours anyway.

Liverpool vs Villa is not a "no brainer" as things stand in player's minds.

For my own part, I like Adam and his passing is superb, but it gets to a point where you're being asked so much money for him that other players come int to range for the same sort of price. How much is Honda going for? If you're getting quoted up to the £6m-£8m for Adam and Honda is £8m-£10m, he might be worth that bit extra. Or rather, he definitely would in my opinion.
The commercial aspect is a no brainer too but not as important as the team.

What holloway needs to realise Is we are in the last week of the window- if he wants to get the cash to buy in players he will need to sell fast, we can afford to wait another week if need be , but holloway could find himself with the cash to spend but too late to spend it.

I'd expect something to happen on this in the next 48 hrs , maybe after tomorrows game- we could always have a word with kenny and say we will not loan warnock out until we have signed Adam, similar to what man city did with spurs when they signed bellamy.

I think we can get by if Adam goes to Liverpool, and move onto new targets in the summer.

Also we've got a hell of a passer in wee Barry.

I'd agree we can get by with our midfield , but would still like keeper cover and a left back if possible in the next week, hopefully not konchesky though.
