I'd be very suprised if he doesn't play Bent upfront with Heskey when he's back.

Albrighton can put a lovely ball in from the left swinging into the back post.
He can - but that would then mean either Young or Downing on the right.

And it's a definite "no-thank you" from me on that.

I agree on that score completely, just saying that Abrighton is as dangerous either side.

I'm starting to wonder where Gabby's going to fit in in the long term.

I think Gabby will be hte number 2 for Bent for much of next season, or alongside in a 2 if we play that way. Long term though if we get a decent offer I can see him being sold Tim.

If you were to pick a pair, then over the last 10 years genuine goalscorers have alway said their favourite front man to play alongside is Emile. I would have thought that he and Bent would be a pretty decent duo if given a run.

Agreed, but the others aren't. Hence the reason he needs to stay there.

Our strikers have scored 4 goals between them in the league all season according to a stat on sky- that truly is a dreadful tally - play bent and with marc and ash wide they will both chip in with a few- gabby needs to regain form and confidence and improve his finishing and does not warrant a place ahead of ash, marc or downing , heskey does a lot of hard work for the team but I see him as a man to bring on as a sub if needed.

A fit and on form gabby will be an asset but he has looked a shadow of his former self and we have better on form options than him at the moment.

Bent albrighton and young will get goals and downing will add a few too.Bent is an excellent penalty taker too and we have missed a few since Barry left, with attacking full backs on the overlap I see a lot more fluidity in the team and a very good bench if we need to change our tactics- things are coming on nicely - now we need to get the results.

REDKNAPP READY TO SELL KRANJCAR

Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for Niko Kranjcar after manager Harry Redknapp revealed the midfielder wants to leave White Hart Lane.

The superb form of wingers Aaron Lennon and Gareth Bale has restricted the Croatian to just 12 appearances so far this season.

His hopes of pushing for a place in Redknapp's first team took a further blow this week when the Tottenham boss signed Steven Pienaar to compete with Bale for Kranjcar's favoured position on the left wing.

Kranjcar said two weeks ago that he was determined to stay and fight for his place in the team, but it appears that Pienaar's arrival has convinced him that he has no future at the club.

"Niko really is looking to move," Redknapp said.

"I had a chat with him yesterday and he wants to play. He doesn't like playing on the right. He is not happy there. It doesn't suit him.

"He wants to play off the left but Gareth has been playing there and been playing fantastic. He understands that."

Liverpool and Chelsea have been linked with a move for the former Hajduk Split man, whom Redknapp also signed for Portsmouth in 2006.

Redknapp believes Kranjcar will end up moving abroad and admitted that any deal for the Croatia international would have to be permanent.

Redknapp added: "He'd like to play and I've said, 'I understand that Niko and if someone comes in for you then you can go'. Unless he can find a good club here then I think he'll go abroad.

"I think he'd look to go permanently. He's well regarded around the world, he's an international player, he got goals the other week for Croatia in the two games and he plays on the world stage.

"People know what a good player he is. He could play at a top team anywhere really."

I'd buy Kranjar for 4 million and sell Downing for 12 to Liverpool!

Heskey and Downing have 4 each in the league haven't they?

Heskey's got 3 and Downing isn't a striker.

From the little I've seen of either of them, I think I'd prefer Kranjcar to Adam.
