who is there that could afford Davies would want him? He turned down Leicester so he obviously has a higher opinion of himself than the standard of clubs he's attracting. We need MON to stab someone els.. I mean find a new job.

I thought Stoke were keen on Davies?

Warnock going means we have a left back tied up, surely? Otheriwse it's risky business. Something MON might have risked but I cant see Houllier doing. Clark will do a good job there but at the moment, he's it.
As an aside, I'm very disappointed in Warnock. He really is much better than he's shown this season.
Get the dippers to cough up though. They can do better than a loan can't they? The almighty Liverpool?? Biggest club in the world...

What would people think if we offered Delph on loan to Blackpool for the rest of the season as part of a deal that got Charlie Adam?

I think it would be a good idea. He'd benefit from playing, getting fully fit & sharp. Ready for being a big player for us next season.

And certainly not to Blackpool. I wouldn't help that Wurzel fuck-knuckle one bit. I wouldn't even send Ireland there.
If they want to deal for Adam, fine. If not, look elsewhere. He's good but not exclusively so.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned on here but with pienaar going to spurs for £6million how can holloway expect any more than £4m/£4.5m max for Adam?

Anything more is way over the odds for a player like that. I'd tell him to go whistle for the a money. We'll pick him up next season cheaper when you guys are struggling to stay in the league

Which is quite a lot of money considering he's out of contract in a few months and also that the player is an overrated diving little wanker. But still, he is highly rated by some and has lots of PL experience, whereas Adam has 18 months left and half a season PL experience. You wouldn't think their values would be too far apart.

I think we'll soon reach a figure that's about right with their chairman and it will be in the £4.5m area.
