If we sold Warnock, why would we sell him for anything less than we bought him? He played well last season and was even picked to go to the World Cup. Him and Houllier obviously don't get on or don't rate each other but that shouldn't mean we don't get a good fee for him, if he were to be sold, of course.

I wish we could sell the players he doesn't want rather than loan them and their value likely to drop further when we offload them in the summer. Unless Warnock suddenly remembers how to play again. Not unlikely given he's going back home.

Other side of it is I would guess we are getting a loan fee each time they go out. Certainly with Davies, who will be commanding a loan fee of 500k I would imagine for Leicester and now Celtic, plus the saved wages. Add Warnock - maybe 750k-1m for the loan till May, even if we sell in the summer, both will have got us a bit more through going out on loan first.

Carew/ Reo Coker obviously won't as their deals are up.

I'd have to agree.
Celtic probably can't afford the £2.5m transfer fee, like Rangers, they haven't got a pot to piss in.

Only loan if a club is genuinely interested in buying.
