I would want to try and get fees for Warnock, Carew and Davies now. Maybe 7-8 million back on them, plus their wages saved would allow us to get a left back and Adam before the window shuts, and be a fabulous month of business.

IF warnock is allowed to go , I reckon we must be confident of a left back signing , adam may or may not happen, maybe he needs to put in a transfer request and force their hand a bit, not too bothered about samba , but I'd like a keeper in as cover at least for brad, westwood could be picked up for maybe £1.5m as his contract ends in June.

Great month of transfer activity and we will have the makings of a decent side next season as well, no reason why we shouldn't put a run of results to get into the top 10 this season.

Shocked nick owen could ask why would he leave a big club like Sunderland - a yoyo club who are still not as good as us on paper and will not stay in the top 6.
