Samba seems no better than a slimline Dunne to me, but mabye thats the attraction

No thanks to Samba, he's no better than Dunne or Collins. I'd rather keep Davies as back up

agree totally with this - i think he is clumsy, slow and his goal record is certainly no better than what we have

Really do not want to lose Collins. He is passionate about his football and that passion is infectious ........

I'm a big fan aswell.  In fact, I'd love to see a Collins/Clark pairing in the near future.

I'm lukewarm about Samba to be honest.

No, too tepid in the tackle for that position. More of a sweeper.

No, not fussed about Samba at all. Maybe he's better than I think he is. Cant say I've ever thought of him as a top centre half though.
Would much prefer Lescott.

Not mad keen on Samba. It seems that the spending hasn't stopped mind.

Not overly keen on Samba tbh, unless Houllier's fall-out with Dunne spells the end of his time at Villa. In which case he would need to get a.n.other CB to add to Collins, Cuellar and Clark (also assuming that Davies' days here are numbered)

Dont see the need for Samba. I know they havent all performed up to standard this season but in Dunne, Collins, Cuellar and Clark I think we have 4 quality centre backs, who seem to be turning a corner now. Watching the game on Sunday, Dunne looks like he had a very unenjoyable Xmas if you get me!

With Makoun and Walker in, Bent seemingly on the way and possibly Adam too, it will be an extremely good January. Hats off to Randy and GH if they pull it off. Only 8 points off 7th (could be enough for Europe if Arsenal win Carling Cup) at present...am I getting ahead of myself?????

On Robbie Keane, I heard it was more the length of the contract he was looking for as opposed to wages. I'm sure Blues would have been willing to make him a top earner or else they wouldnt have gone in in the first place. Also, apparnetly he wanted to commute which McLeish wasnt too happy with.

If we get Bent, Sunderland would be the obvious destination, but a long way from London.
