£3.5m does seem a bit low for a 25yo first team regular in the top half of the Prem.

He is quickly turning from entertaining manager from little club giving the big league what for

into a mouthy, rentaquote, love myself gobshite

Yes you have done really well, yes your team are playing some really good football and are upsetting a few of the established teams in the prem

But you are not Manu or Fergiscum - so shut the fuck up

And by the way (without sounding too much like a Man u / Chelsea pretentious fan) ask any of your players if they would want to come to us and you know what the answer would be - so just agree a fee and lets get on with it please stop using it as a platform to promote yourself

Adam is off, whether to us we'll see. Just bravado from Holloway.

It is but against that he'll be in the final year of his contract in the summer and he's only got 6 months PL experience. If they don't sell him now then, unless he signs a new contract, the price is only going to go down.

Exactly. And with all due respect to Blackpool and their achievements on the pitch this season - they're putting a few bigger clubs to shame - they are, essentially, a modest if not small club with a recent history of playing lower league football. That might sound patronising but not sure they can afford to turn down the best part of £4m for a player who probably won't sign a new contract. They can't have many players who could command that kind of transfer fee.

Possibly so, but Holloway shouldn't be spouting off how small the bids are in the national press.

If they were not selling they would not be making the bids so public. They want a certain amount for him and are making a lot of noise to get it.

Have to agree...he was refreshing to start with but the novelty factor is fast wearing off for me. He's becoming irritating. His rant on Sky the other day when he demanded the other fans show his club a bit of respect (in a cup tie) as they were singing "premier league, you're having a laugh" was laughable....suddenly he seems detached from reality.

You've done a good job, don't start believing your own hype though Holloway...

Well, they do have one other player in their ranks who once commanded a similar fee......

I think like a lot of people, I liked the thought of Holloway having a go in the PL. He's done a superb job on limited resources even if it all has a Hull City feel about it. I hope they stay up and do well in the future but you have to think it will catch up with them in the end. I know earlier someone suggested he was Phil Brown. I don't think he's quite that bad, but he's doing his level best to be heard - all the time. He's the classic little bloke who has to whout louder just to be heard above the noise, and he's in danger of saying too much, too often right now and the novelty is wearing a little thin. I hope that he remains the same bloke behind the chest puffing, because the game does need characters. However, he should take a look at Phil Brown and learn that there's a limit to everything.

I can't help but think that Charlie Adam probably isn't all that great and is just over-performing in an over-performing team, a but like Sidwell at Reading.

Indeed they do. Indeed. They. Do (gouges out own eyes with nearest sharp implement at the memory).
