What a load of trollope. He failed a medical with a undiagnosed issue the medical found with his back. GH was good enough not to say he was a crock following this and said he had to weigh up wages and the youth of the squad and how many games he will play etc, as to not scupper either future chances to sign him, or his chances of going elsewhere.

So houllier lied? From reports it was too do with wages, where has it been mentioned about failing a medical?

I just don't see that a guy can fail a medical and then the manager involved come out and give a washy tale about wages and not doing it at this time due to the balance of the squad. I hope the lad sorts out the back problem and we get him in the future.

The days of paying well over the odds are over, value for money is keynote for the future. I know he only has a short time left on his contract but Adam is the engine behind Blackpool, can see them sliding down very quickly.
