A few months ago i'd of been so upset at the link of joey barton but at the moment i'm quite liking the idea... Either villa are sending me completely deranged or the move is't really as bad as we might fear. We all know, whoever gets to put on the villa shirt will be supported 100%. But i'm thinking barton could be exactly what we need in our quite weak midfield.
A bit of bite and determination. As long as we dont become a team full of thugs or become dirty (a la mark hughes tactics).
The reason we're letting goals in at the minute isn't JUST down to a poor defence, it's down to a light weight midfield too.

MBokani, despite looking like a creature from star wars could be a good signing too! Drogba like in style. Strong enough for the english football if he stays on his feet and knows what he's up against.

Most of it sepcific and not ambiguous like most bullshitters. Believe it or not, it's no skin off my nose but I think he's genuine and I've been told something along those lines by people I do know to be on the level.

So absoloutely nothing what has not been reported on this site already. 70% is what any of us could guess after reading all the reports and other rumours. Barton link is already reported as "bullshit". Mbokani mentioned two weeks ago. Makoun on SSN aware of clubs in for him. As i originally said. He has told us nothing. Just hope Makoun is going to be a Villa player by sunday ..........

If Blackpool are thinking of selling him then more likely he won't play v Liverpool for risk of injury- we often seem to get involved in long drawn out transfers , warnock, young, Collins and dunne and Ireland were all protracted , much prefer to hear we have signed them than be negotiating days on end- our need is great and I'd we have to pay a bit over the odds then so be it- relegation would cost considerably more.
