Didn't GH say the other week to expect some movement on the signings after the cup game? Especially after the collapse of the Foffana deal he must have something lined up pretty soon hopefully.

we got less than half a mill for sidwell. the 3.5 deal being thrown around included the wages if he remains at fulham beyond the 6 month contract they signed him on, if they had really just paid 3.5 million they would have given him more that 6 months with an option to extend at clubs descretion.
your point about makoun is spot on tho. i think its just hou doing a rednapp in order to save a million. fair play for it i say, aslong as we do sign him in the end and dont miss out as a result

Striker has become imperative, especially with Gabby not exactly flying. We have been linked with Traore from Cluj? who looks a hell of a prospect for his age, Cisse, who I think will score goals and Bothroyd, who would be a cheap, but fairly safe option to lead the line.

Makoun is a must. I like NRC, but he has been woeful since coming back from injury. Rip Van Winkel said on the match thread he might not be fully fit, and looked struggling today. Hopefully a goal will do Petrov a bit of good though today.
